Tornado Visits the Station

The 'new' steam locomotive, 60163 'Tornado', steamed into Dunrobin Castle station on June 21st - Father's Day! The A1 Peppercorn design that was finished  in 2008 after 18 years of hard work, pulled 'The Seaforth Highlander' on a return trip between Inverness and Brora.  The day before the train had formed 'The Highland Ramber' on a tour from Stirling to Inverness , then on the 22nd, 'The Highland Caledonian', from Inverness back to Stirling.

More about this splendid loco can be found at www.a1steam.com.
